Position Overview: North Oldham United Methodist Church is a new church start in North Oldham County, Kentucky. We are a church that is still being formed as we seek to be a Christ-centered community rooted in prayer, spiritual growth, joyful worship, and openness to the Holy Spirit. Committed to extending Christ’s welcome to all people, we seek to grow faithfully, and serve one another and our community with compassion, integrity, and humility. As we grow into this calling, we are seeking a Part-Time Music Director to provide instrumentation and vocal leadership for blended worship. Position responsibilities will include playing and leading both traditional hymns and contemporary praise music. Approximately 5 hours per week to include collaboration with the pastor and Sunday morning 10:00 worship services. Flexibility to add additional hours for additional services during Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in helping shape worship for a new church and who is interested in adding hours quickly as we grow and expand our worship.
