Sells ETF, Mutual Fund and Multi Asset Class products and services to suitable prospects producing fee revenue for the bank2. Identifies new prospects by researching potential needs and prioritizing and producing a business plan3. Acts as the technical expert and regional lead on the bank's products and services and the outside marketplace4. Makes customized sales presentations to large and complex clients utilizing knowledge of our products and services5. Utilizes knowledge of bank's investment, trust, custody and securities products and services to work with other internal partners and recommend new services or products to clients where possible6. Maintains on-going relationships with advisors, making them aware of the bank's products and services7. Maintains knowledge of our products and services by initiating frequent contact with other financial institutions, partners and keeping abreast of laws and regulations affecting the industry8. Maintains knowledge of competitors and their products and services9. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise10. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities11. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues12. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivityKnowledge :Knowledge of investment management areas across all products and segments such as fixed income, active and passive equities, cash, securities and international together with other Northern products and services, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to respond to client's needsAbility to communicate and sell Northern products and services to generate revenue for the bankKnowledge of securities and pension industry products and services in order to compete with other financial institutionsNegotiation skills are necessary to respond to fee proposalsLeadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staffExperience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required /preferred. 10-15 years of investment sales experience. NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) are requiredSalary Range:$150,000 to $268,640Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
